Opening August 8th is 'Hell Ride' with Kanin Howell supporting a star studded cast.

Los Angeles, CA July 21, 2008 – Actor Kanin Howell (HBO’s ‘True Blood’ & ‘Death Sentence’) will be seen riding with Michael Madsen (‘Sin City” & ‘Kill Bill Vol. 1&2) and Dennis Hopper (‘Swing Vote’ & Starz ‘Crash’) when The Weinstein Company and Quentin Tarantino produced ‘Hell Ride’ hits theaters on August 8th.
Howell plays ‘Opium’ – a want to be member of The Victors motorcycle gang which includes Madsen, Hopper, and Eric Balfour (‘Be Cool’) that is trying to earn the respect of the other members in hopes of being a full fledged Victor some day.
Kanin got his first big break in the film World when he landed a sizable role in the Movie ‘Secondhand Lions’ with Michael Caine (‘Dark Knight’) and Robert Duvall (‘We Own the Night’ & ‘The Godfather’). After that people started to catch wind of his skills and multiple film jobs came his way, including supporting roles in ‘Death Sentence’ with Kevin Bacon as well as ‘Venus & Vegas’ with Roselyn Sanchez He then went on to appear in such TV shows as ‘CSI: NY’, ‘The Division’, and recently booked a recurring on HBO’s ‘True Blood’.
“It was an honor to work with such talent’, Kanin says about his role in ‘Hell Ride’. “I am a big fan of Tarantino, so being apart of one of his films is like a dream come true”. He looks forward to more opportunities as this and knows it will come as long as he keeps working hard.
