Sales has never been my forte. I spent 6 months working at a Suburu Car Dealership and never sold a car.
I recently went in to a Hair Salon where there were 4 elderly clients and I asked the owner if I could leave her a 6 pack of product with some information. I said it is Omega 3 and it doesn’t cost anything to look. She said, “No I am not interested.” I guess I should have just thanked her and walked out, but by then I had gotten a couple of warm looks and smiles of the elderly woman sitting there and my emotions took over. I said,” I guess it must be a very healthy town you live in. She said, “Yes (laughing), I am into all those cancer causing agents and Trans Fats out there.

She was still laughing at me as I left and I thought how sad, not for me but for those woman who might have had a chance to hear all about the benefits of omega 3 fish oil in the final years of their lives. My heart hurt because I have a 95 year mother that is very much aware of omega 3’s that I will be telling all my customers about at a later time. I have come across a couple of rude people in my travels but I am very happy to say the large majority of the owners and managers have been very nice and I can’t wait to know them better as we work and grow.
