National Media Invited to Green Press Conference: Virtual Event Scheduled for October

(Free-Press-Release.com) July 29, 2008 -- Los Angeles, CA -Leaders within energy, building, green business, academic and scientific communities have announced an unprecedented joint effort to collaborate in producing a live online “Green Press Conference” that will take place online late in October 2008.

The first of many topics planned for address will include forward statements, panel presentations and Q/A dialogue on alternative energy and the impact of biofuels.

Concern about fuel/food prices and the efforts being undertaken to protect the planet’s environment will bring together business leaders, environmental experts and scientists to answer media questions and provide information related to new technologies, research advancements, and proposed policies addressing some of the most pressing threats to our planet, including global warming, habitat destruction, pollution, and species extinctions.

A newly formed collaborative is coming together to help educate & distribute news to the media via the launch of a new Green Press Wire service and Green Talk Network. Future presentations and programs are being planned to address environmental topics and issues.
