Conducted every Friday at Karate Summer Camp

The Karate Summer Camp Talent Shows are Excellent!
Congratulations and Well Done to all Participants of the Karate Camp, Tiki Cup Talent Championships and the Brick Breaking Clinics conducted at the Ryoshin-Kan Karate School 20 to 26 July 2008.

• GREAT BRICK BREAKING Clinics: Well done to all participants of the Brick Breaking Clinics conducted on 20 and 26 July. Sensei Thompson Broke 10 stacked red bricks, 8 Red Bricks and 5 Grey Concrete patio blocks with elbow techniques. He also demonstrated a knife hand Break on a Brick. Iron Palm through a Red patio block and elbow strike through 4 Red Bricks demonstrated by Michael Milliman. Jerimy Brecheen broke an elevated Red Patio block with a hammer Fist strike and he demonstrated the Iron Palm Break.

• GREAT BELT TESTING: Congratulations and Well done to the following Students who were awarded their Gold Belt on Friday 25 July 2008; Adam Lenox, Hannah Laura, John Laura and Illeana Amaya. "BZ"


• GREAT TALENT SHOW: The individual and Team routines were high spirited and creative. We Gave out 20 Tiki cups, Candy, gifts and other Awards.

FIRST PLACE "Tiki Cup" Winners: Sensei, Jerimy Brecheen, Zinjin Iglesia, Maurice Reed, Bella Bartha, Chris Altman, Trent Deperalta, Mikey Battelle, Joe Ramirez, Kylee Battelle, Xiomania Payton, Hayden Bowles, Zachary Bowles, Orion Wood, Adam Lenox, Illeana Amaya, Hannah Laura, John Laura, and Hye Cha Thompson.
BEST TEAM PAIRS 1st Place: Bella / Trent / Chris/ Joe, Zinjin / Orion, Maurice / Jerimy / Adam, Kylee /Xiomania / Illeana / Hannah, Mikey/ Hayden / John / Zachary.
Overall Karate Camp has been really Fun and Educational. So far we have conducted Martial Arts Training, Field Trip to Military Aviation Museum, Ocean Breeze Water Park, movie trips to "Kung Fu Panda / Iron Man/ Hulk/ Get Smart/ Journey to the Center of the Earth/ Hellboy II", Virginia Zoo, Awesome Talent Show Contest, games and lots of Fun.
