JobPlant is the brainwave of a young entrepreneur Emmanuel Ogol who is a London based recruitment specialist and who believes that far from looking at his glass and seeing it half empty, he sees it very much half full. Emmanuel commented “At a time of economic uncertainty, the first place for cuts in many businesses is its workforce. JobPlant have teamed up with VideoTile, a video production company based in Manchester UK, who will be producing high-quality, professional videos for both candidates and companies for the site. JobPlant have secured exclusive rights to the technology for the recruitment sector. Emmanuel stated “We know that the technology could be replicated. However with the quality of VideoTile's production I am sure that we will always be one step ahead. The other benefit to those using the site is the fact that we don't charge for uploading their 'CV' or for the 'Video' whether the video is home-produced to our guidelines or through VideoTile. To replicate that level of service is going to be difficult for our competitors”.

Through their personal video profile, candidates can tell the employer much more about themselves, allowing an employer to see how a candidate communicates, presents themselves, interacts and allows their personality to shine through. Let's face it, we know when we meet someone if they are the person we'd like to work with. The personal video profile 'IS' the candidates first meeting with a potential employer and is viewed from the comfort of the employer's office computer.
