Live Animals Being Gassed For Animal Control Seminar- Gaston NC

(Free-Press-Release.com) August 4, 2008 -- Gaston County Animal Shelter in Dallas, NC near Charlotte plans to kill dogs and cats for a “Gassing” training class for several surrounding counties. The infamous Dr. Sam "Frankenstein" Houser is conducting an animal killing seminar for NC animal control employees 8AM-5 PM. They will be killing dogs and cats by gas. This workshop will provide participants with extensive classroom instruction, as well as direct, participatory applications of various euthanasia agents and methods. A protest rally for the Killing Seminar starts at 8:00 AM August 4th at the shelter. The rally is supported by Garo Alexanian, founder of Companion Animal Network TV, who has been lobbying tirelessly for shelter reform in light of two recent incidences in North Carolina shelters. In July 2008 an Iredell County gas chamber exploded with 10 dogs inside. In June 2008 in Cabarrus County a terrier dog was left in the incinerator room while carcasses were burning, with the temperature above the maximum 85 degrees permitted
