GNS, Inc., a leading provider in IT Security services, was awarded a DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE (DOC) contract to provide GNS professional services, including IT Policy Development and technical review support.
The multi-year, 9.5 million dollar contract awarded to Global Network Systems (GNS) will address multiple information security challenges at the DOC. Under the contract, GNS will assist with facility, system, and application certification and accreditation; Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT) operation; information assurance (IA) consulting and training services; security test & evaluation (ST&E) including penetration and vulnerability testing and assessments; policy and procedure development; and risk management compliance.
