- “It takes a village to raise a child...” The theme for this event is “Gang Related Violence and Exploitation”



STOP THE VIOLENCE SUNDAYS will be held Sunday, August 10, 2008 at Wannamaker County Park in the Tupelo area of the Park from 2:30- 7:00pm.
This event is will cost $1.00 or 1 Greenback Book- regular park entry.

The Family Fun Day will feature:

* water-slides, paddle boats, bike rides
* motivational speakers, live performances and so much more!
* Vendor spaces are still available.


We will also featuring some of our local artists and performers like Crystal, Marion Westwood, Space Invaders, Decm, 2 Rill, Priceman and Tropix Entertainment, and more.

STVS is geared toward promoting peace and finding positive solutions to resolve conflicts. We are also engaged in armoring our youth via education and awareness to produce positive citizens throughout our communities.

Our mission: “To bring an end to violent crimes by increasing awareness, educating and empowering individuals with Music Therapy.”
