(Miami, Fla.) Miami-based business, Airline Capital Leasing (ACL), just announced the award of a $100,000,000 line of credit for the purchase of commercial transport aircraft. This is of significant importance for the growing Hispanic-owned firm - operated by South Florida based entrepreneur Leonard Simkovitz - as a massive multi-million dollar line of credit offers support for commercial aviation ventures throughout emerging world economies.
"I am extremely pleased at the award of this initial line of credit," stated Simkovitz. "ACL is all about expansion and now we will be able to focus on the acquisition of additional Boeing 767-200s and 300s as well the purchase of new generation B-737s."
Founded in 2000, Airline Capital Leasing - with offices in Doral - offers aircraft sales, purchase, operating dry lease (short term and long term ), and lease back transactions - primarily focusing on Boeing and Airbus aircraft. ACL, in this new phase, has sold, purchased and leased over 60 airplanes to over 24 companies.
Leonard Simkovitz has been in the aviation industry for over 39 years. Prior to ACL, Simkovitz served for over 16 years as Senior Executive reporting directly to South Florida aviation pioneer George E. Batchelor.
