*(Lars, and The Real �Girl�)..*SunriseSunsetGal* Review..

Ok, I thought this would be a comedy. I don�t know how else to say this but it was weird, simply .. weird. Lars, (Ryan Gosling) is nothing but a card short of a full deck, orders a made to order plastic sex doll. He gets her and then thinks she is REAL. He even names her.. Bianca. He takes her to parties, out in public, even church. He imagines her as his �girl friend. � His brother and sister in law as well as the whole town play along. They even elect her part of the town council. Now, they know he is a little off so they tell him the doll is sick so he has to visit the doctor. The town doctor tells him she needs to see Bianca for �treatments� all the while she is really trying to talk to Lars and find out what is going on in his head I (which I could tell you was not much). Ultimately, he imagines Bianca gets sick and dies. Then � he gets a real girlfriend � she actually breathes! She .. the really real one was a girl he worked with yet ignored during the entire time he had �Bianca�.

Ok, this was probably one of the weirdest movies I have ever seen, ever, ever, ever, ever. No wait, it was probably THE weirdest movie I�ve ever seen. No it was bizarre, no weird, no wait it was both!!! If you want to rent it you will sit for 90 minutes shaking your head with your mouth open, and think someone actually thought this would make a good movie, wrote a screenplay, pitched it to someone to get funding, got the funding, and made this movie. My recommendation is simply this: PLEASE don�t rent it. Just imagine what I wrote and pretend you saw the movie. Yikes I shutter when I think about it again.
