Decker Jones Attorney David L. Pratt II Elected to Mahon Inn of Court

Pratt II, an attorney with Decker, Jones, McMackin, McClane, Hall & Bates, P.C., has been elected as an associate member in the Eldon B. Mahon Inn of Court in Fort Worth. Pratt also has been appointed as the Vice-Chair of the Website Committee for the Texas State Bar Appellate Section.

The Eldon B. Mahon Inn of Court is an association of judges, lawyers, law professors and law students in Fort Worth and Tarrant County, Texas. The Inn is affiliated with the American Inns of Court, and offers younger lawyers opportunities for professional growth and development by interactive professional relationships with more experienced lawyers. As Vice-Chair of the Website Committee for the Texas State Bar Appellate Section, Pratt and the committee maintain and update the website for the Appellate Section. Pratt is a member of the litigation section at Decker, Jones, McMackin, McClane, Hall & Bates, P. C., where he maintains a significant motion practice for all facets of civil and commercial litigation, with special emphasis in trucking litigation, business litigation and insurance defense. Pratt also engages in transactional matters, where he focuses on corporate transactions, intellectual property issues and franchise creation and development.

Pratt holds a B.B.A. (Finance), with honors, from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, and he received his J.D., cum laude, from the Texas Wesleyan University School of Law.
