International Peace Day Installation - Open Call for Photographers

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) August 16, 2008 -- In recognition of International Peace Day Chicago Build the Peace Committee will present an international photography installation at Richard J. Daley Center, Chicago, IL to present a global vision of the past, present and future of peace building. The goal is to “mainstream” the ideas and activities of peace building.

All Photographers are invited to submit up to 10 of their photographic images for consideration. The theme for submissions is “The State of Humanity.” There is no entry fee associated with this submission. If your image is one of 40 selected for the installation we will request that you send us a high resolution file, so that we can print a large scale reproduction of the image and display it at the Richard J. Daley Center from September 15 – 26, 2008. The submission deadline is August 25, 2008.

Reproduction: The Artist reserves all rights to the reproduction of the Artworks except the print of the selected photograph(s), which will be donated by the artist to CBTPC. CBTPC will not permit any of the Artworks to be copied, photographed or reproduced without the written permission of the Artist. In every instance of use, the Artist shall be acknowledged as the creator and copyright owner of the Artwork.
