FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) August 16, 2008 -- In April, a sensational young author emerged onto the publishing scene, as Wheatmark Publishing interduced the world to Donna Kshir (Shear). Kshir was a columnist for "The Record" a Pennsylvania based newspaper before resigning her position to focus solely on her writing career.

Kshir's first attempt in the publishing world was in April 2008 when Kshir and mixed martial arts champion Dr. Mark Bailey co-wrote Bailey's life story titled, "My Life's Fight." Kshir told of mixed martial arts champion Dr. Mark Bailey's turbulent and violent childhood turned into an adulthood plagued by drinking, crime, and more violence, ultimately leading to prison. The life Bailey lead before he found God, and turned his life around to become a champion fighter.

After four short months of release, "My Life's Fight" is #106 on the top 1,000 books sold on the Barnesandnoble.com website.

On August 15, 2008, Kshir will release her second book titled, "Dear Diary- Oh Mother." It is the first book in a six book fictional series, sold exclusively through Barneasandnoble.com, Amazon.com and Wheatmark.com. The book is based on a elderly woman named Jade and her life experiences.

Jade is an elderly woman with two grown children and several grandchildren. Her husband has passed away, and her life has been successful and filled with love, for the most part, a life she has well documented in her private diary for years. Now Jade feels it is time to retire her diary with one final entry... one final entry that she is devoting entirely to the biggest problem in her life, her step-mother Alice.

The final diary entry is a 60-page heart felt short story that covers a lifetime of emotional abuse and pain caused by her step-mother. A shocking discovery is made when Jade reveals how she tricks her mother into approving of her marriage as a result of getting pregnant to a much older man, as well as revealing a secret that has spent a lifetime haunting Jade. Many awful occurrences depict a mother cruel enough to be Cinderella's wicked step-mother.

Larissa Boyer a copy editor for the Pennsylvania "Cumberland County Sentinel" recently reviewed Kshir's book stating, "Dear Diary is a poignant story with a wonderful voice. It’s a great read, especially for any daughter who has had issues with her mother before, which I can assume is pretty much every female in the world."

Both of Kshir's paperback are available online exclusively at Barnesandnoble.com and Amazon.com for around $9.00.

In addition to her books, Kshir is being featured in a new book by Detroit author Contel Bradford. Bradford featured Kshir in his August 2008 release, "The iPod & iTunes Handbook. Bradford featured Kshir as a case study, which revealed her love of music and credited her recent published accomplishments.
