The program was first introduced in 2002 but failed to get off the ground due to a lack of participation and/or interest from the general public, but LeafsOfTalent's founder John Sudds is determined to see the program take root and expand across all ethnic lines. However, the program would only be available to citizens of the U.S. and its territories due to complicated tax laws and other volatilities looming abroad.

The program would be heavily monitored with cash awards separated into three (3)demographics; working professionals, military and students whereby students would have to be at least 18yrs of age to receive the award.
