Swiss Finance Academy announces the launch of its US investment banking program

BOSTON – Swiss Finance Academy is pleased to announce the expansion of its flagship training program, by launching a new three week program to be held in Boston in the summer of 2009. The training program is structured like a rigorous boot camp and focuses on investment banking, trading, hedge funds, institutional sales, private equity and M&A financial modeling. Designed for undergraduate college students, recent graduates, MBA students as well as finance professionals, this intensive seminar offers participants a competitive advantage by honing their hard and soft skills that are necessary to excel on Wall Street. Besides classroom instruction on quantitative finance, capital markets and financial modeling, students learn to interview effectively for some of the most sought after positions in investment banking, negotiate, and position themselves strongly for long term career success. Students also obtain a real world perspective on what it is actually like to work on Wall Street, in Swiss banking and in the “City” of London, as they go through proprietary exercises and simulations.

Taught by former or current investment bankers, traders and entrepreneurs the program offers financial modeling fundamentals and best practices, modules on building integrated M&A combo models from scratch in Excel, and building other valuation models for IPOs, bond transactions, leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions and business forecasts as performed by Wall Street and Fortune 1000 companies.
