15th Annual Dundee Township Republican Family Picnic

(Free-Press-Release.com) August 30, 2008 -- East Dundee, Illinois – The Dundee Township Republican Central Committee, Inc. is hosting its 15th Annual Republican Family Picnic on Sunday, September 7, 2007 at the Max Freeman Memorial Park, 3rd & North Streets in East Dundee, Illinois. The event begins at 11 a.m., with lunch served from noon till 2 p.m., and features Illinois candidates for State, local and other races.

Confirmed candidates and races include: Jim Oberweis, US House of Representatives, Rep. Ruth Munson, Illinois House of Representatives, Sandy Wegman, Kane County Recorder, John Barsanti, Kane County States Attorney, Bill Keck, Kane County Auditor, Charles West, Kane County Coroner and Judge Patricia Golden, 16th Circuit Judge. Other invited candidates include: Rep. Tim Schmitz, Illinois House of Representatives, Deb Seyller, Kane County Clerk, Karen McConnaughay, Kane County Board Chairman and Kay Teeter, Kane County Board.
The annual celebration is open to the public with an all-you-can-eat lunch (hot dogs, corn on the cob, drinks, etc.). Additionally, there are games and prizes for both children and adults. Door prize drawings begin at 2 p.m.

The event is located immediately adjacent to the Bike Trail in East Dundee. The DTRCC welcomes bikers of all ages to stop in for free cold drinks.

Meal tickets are $8 donation per person, available in advance or at the event. Children 5 years old and under are free.
