HIGH-PROFILE BARBERS COMPETE FOR TOP SHOP AS FORD'S 'FLEX YOUR STYLE COMPETION' GETS UNDERWAY THIS W

(Free-Press-Release.com) September 5, 2008 -- Ford is blending Haircuts, Barbers and the all-new 2009 Ford Flex as part of its 'Flex Your Style Competition,' that kicks off in Atlanta this weekend. The competition seeds five of Atlanta's hottest barbers against each other in a six-week competition to win a Flex and to be crowned the "Top Shop" at a wrap event in Mid-September.

The program involves various Flex events at each participating barbershop where consumers will get a chance to check out the Flex and vote for their favorite barber all while participating in various activities at the barbershop. Attendee's will also get a chance to enter to win a Flex by visiting http://www.fordurban.com/flexyourstyle.

The first Flex-Barbershop event takes place at The Arena Barbershop and will feature celebrity appearances, music, free haircuts, food and giveaways. There will also be Ford product specialists on-site who will provide vehicle walk-arounds. In addition, Greg Street of WVEE will drop by the shop at 2:00 p.m. in a Flex and will be interviewing the barbers and conducting call-in's from the shop.
