McCain ‘Straight Talk’ bus is a Green Machine
McCain ‘Straight Talk’ bus is a Green Machine
National Vapor Industries, Inc. (NVI) reports that Senator John McCain’s “Straight Talk Express” presidential campaign bus is being fueled in part by one of its patented hydrogen generators.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) September 7, 2008 --
The company has designed and built special generators for heavy equipment that provide the same improved mileage and lower emissions as their automobile/light truck units.
“Straight Talk” bus driver, George Turnipseed, installed NVI’s big-rig hydrogen generator while in Alabama then drove the bus to Reno, Nevada. During the trip, bus mileage improved by 12% and diesel engine emissions dropped noticeably. “I was really happy with the unit,” he said, “And we got the improvement using only 4 amps from the engine’s electrical system.” Turnipseed said he’s increasing the amperage to get even more MPG.
Incorporated in the state of Nevada with a manufacturing facility in Livermore, CA, NVI has built and sold add-on hydrogen generators since early 2006. Developed by engineer Matt Schadeck, these units can be installed in or near the engine compartment of autos, trucks, buses and even ferry boats and irrigation equipment (see www.nationalvapor.com)
Hydrogen generators produce what is called “Brown’s Gas” by electrolysis...a mixture of hydrogen, oxygen and water vapor that is channeled into a combustion engine’s intake system where it mixes with and supplements the normal fuel/air mixture. Units operate using low amperage from an engine’s battery or alternator and customer documented mileage improvement can run as high as 40%.
NVI literature claims the energy produced by Brown’s Gas during combustion is many times greater than the energy used to create the supplemental gases in the first place. Also, the company reports it has sold hundreds of heavy duty units and customer accolades continue to pour in.
