This “eBook”, sent in Adobe Reader .pdf format, is different than what is currently available in that it establishes minimal requirements for what acceptable plug-in cars should be and then only compares cars based on those requirements. Some of the requirements used to rate and review cars are; car must realistically replace a gas powered car used in a family today; car must plug-in into a home or office electrical outlet for charging; car needs to be capable of a specific minimum performance and range (driving distance with a comfort factor) while driving realistic speeds and on road grades that one would encounter in a typical “commute to and from work”.
