Sick Drummer Magazine Making Industry Waves!
Sick Drummer Magazine, from the creators of sickdrummer.com, is off to a ripping launch! With over 20 of the world's most extreme drummers as contributing columnists, things are looking promising.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) September 17, 2008 --
The Premier Issue of Sick Drummer Magazine was released via the web on September 1st 2009. Presented via an interactive, flash based, flipping digital platform, the release has prompted a staggering chain of events.
Having over 20 of the world's most extreme drummers as contributing columnists, sound engineers conducting interviews with studios, original and informative content, and the interactive platform, the growth looks very promising. Some of our contributors are: Derek Roddy, Sean Reinert, Charlie Zeleny, John Merryman, Bobby Jarzombek, Dave Culross, Adam Jarvis, Elliot Hoffman, Tim Yeung and many others.
The Premier Issue sparked a partnership with UK based Terrorizer Magazine, who is currently on their 175th issue and printing 36,000 copies per month. Sick Drummer Magazine now has a recurring column in Terrorizer, that features extreme drummers talking about their gear. The name of the column is "Choose Your Weapon" and is running in the October issue of Terrorizer. A "Drummer Slaughter" special edition is also being created and will be mounted on the cover of Terrorizer at the end of the year, as part of their "Fear Candy" compilation CD.
The current issue of Sick Drummer Magazine attracted companies like: Sabian, Axis Percussion, Trick, Devils Drum, Taye Drums, Indie Merch and other established industry leaders. There are lessons, interviews and studio specials that expose some of the most talented extreme drummers, both new and legendary.
Issue #3, slated for a November 1st release will feature Mike Portnoy & Will Calhoun on the cover. Bringing together icons in the progressive metal field, with the talents of others we promote, is one of the ways we plan to teach younger drummers about variety and longevity.
If you are a metal drummer or record label and want to promote your band, or are a drum company / genre specific service provider, there's only one true & viable outlet that will help you reach a massive target audience that has a vested interest in it's continued growth.
