(Free-Press-Release.com) September 22, 2008 -- Meriden, CT - Kruse International and Johnny Pascucci’s Classic Cars invites you to join us at the inaugural event Statewide Collector Car Auction on Saturday, September 27th to be held at the new multi-million dollar Statewide Recovery Facility centrally located in Meriden, CT. The new establishment has been improved to provide a more comfortable experience to all bidders, consigners, and attendees. Original features include a drive-through indoor auction room, reception area for bidders, and ample parking.

Kruse International is still welcoming consignments for this auction of all makes and models of vehicles that were constructed on or before 1983 through September 23rd. As usual, proper documentation is required. However, if you miss our deadline, we will be checking in cars at the Statewide Recovery Facility until 5pm on Friday, September 26th. Over one hundred and fifty vintage vehicles are expected and we already have a great lineup of cars including:

- Celebrity Car: 1955 Cadillac Fleetwood. Actual car used in the 1989 Academy Award winning movie “Driving Miss Daisy” starring Morgan Freeman, Dan Aykroyd and the late Jessica Tandy.
- 1948 Plymouth Special Deluxe Convertible
- 1954 Mercury Monterey Convertible
- 1955 Ford Thunderbird Convertible
- 1950 Buick Two Door
- 1938 Pontiac Convertible Coupe
- 1961 Ford Galaxie Convertible
- 1960 Buick LeSabre Convertible
- 1938 Cadillac 75 Series Convertible Sedan
- 1958 Nash Metropolitan

- 1930 Pierce Arrow Dual Cowl Phaeton
- 1973 Datsun 240 ZG Coupe. This is one of just ten imported to the US in 1973

To add to the excitement, a consigner and bidder reception and auction preview will also take place on September 26th from 6pm to 9pm. Enjoy a pleasant evening chatting with classic car enthusiasts from all over the country while you have the chance to examine and admire each and every vintage vehicle before the bidding war starts. You must be a registered bidder and be assigned a bidder’s number to bid at this auction. We strongly suggest that you pre-register with our office.

The Statewide Collector Car Auction takes place Saturday, September 27th, 2008 at 1756 N. Broad St., Rt 15/ Berlin Tpke., Meriden, CT at 10am.
