Chinese American Film Festival Scheduled to launch November 3, 2008

Chinese American Film Festival Scheduled to launch November 3, 2008

The Chinese American film festival (2008 CAFF) will be launch in Hollywood,California, more than 36 quality feature films from Asia will be nominated for the festival,. Organize by EDI Media,Co-Organize by DotMedia Communication with the active co-operation from  the local media to support this landmark event. The rest, as the saying goes, is history. This unique collaboration has come to fruition with the open ceremony event, exhibition of thirty highly-acclaimed Chinese American films, a Seminar and Workshop Series, and the attendants by a delegation of Filmmaker from US and China . The Chinese American Film Festival 2008 will be held in Hollywood,California,building closer ties and greater economic cooperation using filmmaking as a common medium. The Chinese American Film Festival  opening ceremony will be held on November 3,2008 at Director’s Guild Theatre, Hollywood, Ca., and CAFF/Famous French Fashion Designer Yves Castaldi’s Fashion Culture Night will be held at San Gabriel Hilton on Nov 5,2008 and hopefully to generate  widespread awareness of and interest in movies and film practitioners from Asia & America

Other than enriching our local audience appreciation of Chinese American film culture, this Festival also serves as a platform for international dialogue and collaboration in film education, film financing, and film production. This is the first-ever Chinese American film event held in the region on such a significant scale.

We are confident that interviews and discussions between government officials, the exchange of perspectives and experience amongst film academics, China filmmakers' visits to various film production facilities in California, and more, will make the Chinese American Film Festival 2008 a world-class event, worthy of the highest esteem and the greatest anticipation and support.
