The Personal Training Sessions which will start in October will be carried out under the overall Mission of Hoop4Life, Inc in conjunction with the Ballers Youth Athletic Foundation of Augusta Georgia. We will begin to hold these events monthly as long as there is a need, says Mishlon Burns, Director of the BYAF. We want to assist our kids and prepare them for the future as best as possible. Working with someone that has the skill level and background of Mr. Blakley is something that most could only dream of. This program is open to any kids in the area who would like to register (girls and boys). As a member of the Ballers Youth Athletic Foundation we will hold fundraisers to help with the nominal fee of 40.00 that is required per person.
The sessions will be 3 hours long and will help with the skills they will need to be a successful basketball player at the High School and College Levels. There will be beginner thru advanced levels of instruction and the class agenda is based on correct fundamentals and techniques that work the body effectively and efficiently, which gives the students the opportunity to learn to conserve time.

Some Background on Mr. Blakley; Education - Anthony studied Psychology at both Mississippi State and Panhandle State Universities from 1985-1989. Anthony has been a certified personal trainer since 2001 Work - In 1989, Anthony was drafted to play professional Basketball and played professionally for 13 years. He has been a personal trainer and role model since high school. In 2002, he trained for Keyhea Personal Training Service. In 2005, he managed Gulf Coast Fitness and in 2006, he became an Assistant Coach for The Atlanta Vision. Anthony is now the CEO and founder of Hoop4Life, Inc. Sports and Learning Center in Winder, Georgia. Personal - Anthony Blakley grew up in Gulfport, MS and was a high school basketball star at Gulfport High school. After Playing at Mississippi State and Panhandle State, he played professional basketball in the USA and in Europe for more than 13 years. Hoop4Life was birthed from Anthony’s experience and passion to train, develop, educate, and mentor youth. Hoop4Life offers a variety of services that serves the community. “For me, fitness is a life style. It is living a balanced life....not just maintaining a well-toned body. My mission is to help others identify their goals and to work on obstacles that may interfere with obtaining those goals.” Anthony offers his clientele valuable skills acquired through many years of playing professional basketball. His greatest strength is as a motivator...instilling self-confidence, self-discipline, responsibility and pride.
