(Free-Press-Release.com) October 1, 2008 --
San Jose, CA October 1, 2008 – The results are in for BookRenter.com’s 15,000th Book Renter Contest, which took place from August 11th to September 19th. The winner, Danielle Leith of Clarion University of Pennsylvania, has won $199 cash and one year of free rentals from BookRenter.com. Danielle also won a $1,000 donation for her university’s scholarship fund, to help students at her school pay for their expensive textbooks.
"This (winning the Contest) is amazing, I never would have expected this,” said Danielle. As for her experience using BookRenter.com, Danielle is happy to save money by renting: “Ordering from BookRenter.com was very simple and easy, and my books arrived fast. I think it's a great idea to rent your books for less than you can get them anywhere else."
With its donation to the Clarion University of Pennsylvania financial aid office, BookRenter.com looks forward to building a relationship with all students at the university. “We hope that Danielle and other students who benefit from our contest tell others how BookRenter.com saves them money on their expensive textbooks,” said Laura Sneddon, Ecommerce Marketing Manager at BookRenter.com. “At a time when finances are tight for Americans, BookRenter.com hopes to make students’ budgets go even further. We save students 75% off by offering textbook rentals suitable for any type of school term.”
With the current school term just underway, BookRenter.com is experiencing triple digit growth. The company attributes this to the escalating cost of textbook purchases, a generally more frugal consumer, BookRenter.com’s customer service initiatives, and attractive pricing.
