TRS Congratulates Susan Lucci on being elected the 2009 President of AHDI

Greensboro, North Carolina, October 7, 2008 – Transcription Relief Services (TRS) is pleased to congratulate Susan M Lucci, RHIT, CMT, AHDI-F, TRS Director of Transcription Operations, on being elected the 2009 President of the Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity (AHDI). A seasoned professional in the healthcare documentation industry, Lucci has been recognized for her exceptional leadership and commitment to supporting, educating and advancing the career opportunities for Medical Transcriptionists (MTs). TRS is proud of her role with AHDI, as well as AHDI and Lucci’s combined dedication to pursuing the highest standards of excellence in health care documentation.

With more than 20 years of experience in Health Information Management and Medical Transcription, Lucci has held a number of different roles and been recognized with numerous promotions throughout her career. Prior to joining TRS, she served as Director of Operations and later Director of QA for one of the nation’s largest MTSOs. In addition to serving as a frequent writer and contributor to healthcare industry publications, she serves on AHDI’s Editorial Content Team. Her commitment to the industry further extends to her role as the Facilitator of the Communities of Practice for the Medical Transcription Community for AHIMA.
