St. Anne's Centennial Golf Tournament at Wilshire Country Club

(Free-Press-Release.com) October 9, 2008 -- St. Anne’s final centennial celebration will be their Invitational Golf Tournament on Monday, November 17 at the Wilshire Country Club located at 301 North Rossmore Avenue in Los Angeles. For 100 years, St. Anne’s has been helping unwed mothers and at-risk children build better lives, and has evolved into one of Southern California's leading social service agencies.

All funds raised from this event will help St. Anne’s continue its work in breaking the cycle of teen pregnancy, abuse, unemployment and incarceration.

When St. Anne’s first opened its doors, it was a maternity hospital and hiding place for women to have their babies in secrecy. Over time, they evolved into a savvy social service agency that confronts the issues of teen pregnancy and parenting, and strengthens families to become self-sufficient and independent. St. Anne's remains committed to its mission by providing targeted programs and support services, including: residential treatment, transitional housing, mental health, child care, family literacy, family preservation, educational and vocational preparation. This year marks the 6th year of St. Anne’s Golf Tournament, which helps raise funds to support these programs and services.

To support this event, companies and individuals are encouraged to sponsor one or more of the following:

• Foursome - $3,000
• Individual Player - $750
• Purchase a Tee Sign - $500
• Donate Auction Items or Tee Prizes.

In addition to helping St. Anne’s, players will golf Wilshire Country Club’s exclusive world-class par 71 course, while networking with fellow industry leaders, colleagues and friends. There will be prizes, lunch, contests, cocktails and dinner.
