The search is on for Miss Oklahoma 2009!

(Free-Press-Release.com) October 13, 2008 -- Applications are now being accepted for contestants for the Miss Oklahoma International Pageant, an official preliminary to the Miss International Pageant which will be held in Chicago, IL July 24-25, 2009. The Miss Oklahoma pageant will be held on April 26, 2009 at the OSU Theater in Stillwater.

The young woman selected as Miss Oklahoma International 2009 will become an ambassador for Oklahoma and will receive and official title and sash amongst other prizes. Competitions will include:

Private one-on-one interviews with each judge. The contestant will be asked questions about her platform that she will speak about through her reign - 40%.

Fun fashion wear – 20%

Aerobic wear (in lieu of swimsuit competition) – 20%

Evening gown – 20%
