TriVita™ and Cooperative Marketing vs. MLM vs. G.P.T Programs
People wanting to earn extra income via the Internet have several choices to do so. This article is going to compare three of them; Get Paid Today, MLM, and TriVita's Cooperative Marketing.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) October 13, 2008 --
Many people searching on the Internet for different opportunities will see the different G.P.T., Get Paid Today, programs. These are the programs that when you read the website it tells you that the person has a system that took them from dead broke and desperate to fabulously wealthy and they’re now ready to pass all their secrets onto you. They have great sales copy and super lead capture page systems but, what awaits you at the end usually has a $1000 or more price tag for educational materials or marketing system of some type. These types of programs will work for a few people who lay down the $1, 2, 3, or more thousand dollars it takes to get started but for the vast majority of people who join never make their money back. There are few who make their money back and a few even make one or two sales the first few months but after that they just don’t seem to go any further. If it’s a one-up, or a two-up program, where the new person must give their first 1 or 2 sales to their upline, the sales stop for a good reason. Once the new person is free to recruit he is now competition so the direct support is usually gone from the original sponsor. I know this true because I’ve talked to hundreds of people who have joined one, or several, of the G.P.T. programs only to find out that it ain’t as easy as what the great sales copy makes it sound like.
I’m not here to say that these programs are bad but I want you to know that a G.P.T. product is direct selling. It’s either on the phone or on the Internet and if you’re not very, very proficient at one, or both, you’re not going to be one of the smiling faces on the webpage who made thousands of dollars their first 30, 60, or 90 days.
RESIDUAL INCOME
Residual income is the monumental difference in the two businesses. You’ve heard the saying, “I’d rather have 1% of 100 people’s efforts than 100% of my own effort”.
Most people reading this know what MLM stands for - Multi-Level Marketing. Some people call it Network Marketing or referral based marketing and there are pros and cons to this system but if you strip away all the hype, MLM is the purest and best way to distribute a product and has been used for decades as the way to do so. Multiple levels of marketing are actually what all companies desire (both MLM and non MLM companies). If you’ve ever heard a traditional company announce, “Refer a friend and you’ll receive a discount on your next purchase,” this is multi-level marketing However, when it goes beyond this simplistic example and a company is created for the sole purpose of distributing a product(s) and attaches a payplan that rewards those persons for referring and or recruiting others then the dynamics behind MLM or Network Marketing make it where there is 98% failure rate of people who attempt to make a living at it.
There are some of the members/distributors that make a few hundred, maybe even a few thousand, a month but very few ever make the hundred thousand a month or more that is possible when they are with a good company.
Why do most people fail? Before I explain why, let me say first say, I think that MLM/Network Marketing is the greatest industry in the world:
-Most people who start a business fail.
-Most people who want to play a musical instrument quit.
-Most people who want to get into shape quit.
If someone goes on a diet and exercise program and then cheats by eating things that are not on their diet program and/or by not exercising when they’re supposed to, can they really blame their “failure” on the diet and fitness industry?
NO! If a person fails, it’s because they failed, not the industry!
Having used that diet/exercise example, I will admit that if a person follows the program but doesn’t get results, then the program could have one or more flaws. But that doesn’t mean the entire diet and fitness industry is flawed. The same is true with MLM (Network Marketing). If a person is trained and does everything they are trained to do but does not get results, the training could
be flawed. But that does not mean that the ENTIRE MLM INDUSTRY IS FLAWED.
NOW, it may sound like I’m making an argument for MLM and not Cooperative Marketing but going back to the diet example; if there was an easier, more effective, and healthier way to get in shape wouldn’t it make sense to want to do it?
In traditional MLM, you have to talk to friends, family, and neighbors; get your own customers, and FOLLOW UP WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS. Traditional MLM is an unhealthy business model because your customer base is usually your distributor base, or your group, and if they go your volume goes and YEP, your money goes with them. Also, there are a couple of four letter words that most people hate or don’t have, or both, and one is spelled work and the other is spelled time and that is what it takes to build a large MLM organization.
How does Cooperative Marketing compare to MLM and G.P.T. programs?
Cooperative Marketing (CM) is a business where you work with another established business to sell and market to new and existing customers so you won’t have to worry about the toughest problem entrepreneur’s face and that is acquiring and servicing customers. With Cooperative Marketing you participate in the advertising cost of a product and then you share in the profit when the product is purchased. A ten-year old company that is a perfect example of how this works is TriVita™ located in Scottsdale, AZ.
For almost a decade now, TriVita™ has pioneered a completely new business model that was specifically designed for the small business entrepreneur. It’s an exclusive Cooperative Marketing model, and it’s been proven to be a viable business model that brings success to even the most average individual.
This innovative Cooperative Marketing business model uses a dynamic multi-media approach to generate customers for its business owners. For over nine years now, TriVita® has used everything from television and radio infomercials to online marketing and more to bring in thousands of customers and contacts every week. The full rights to these responders can be purchased, which has helped many TriVita business owners build successful businesses without ever having to be a marketing expert or fund a cost-prohibitive promotional program.
As a TriVita business owner, you follow a few simple steps in your online business center and acquire customers. You can order up to 100 media customers/contacts per month, and they will be deposited into your account usually within one or two business days. Once you get these media-generated customers/contacts, they are yours for life as long as you’re a TriVita™ Business Affiliate (BA). Which means you’ll receive compensation on their entire lifetime of future purchases (compensation is based upon where the customers stand within the TriVita Compensation structure). Compared to traditional MLM/Network Marketing in terms of generating new customers for your business it’s a push button program. However, and this is a key issue: TriVita™ continues to follow-up with your customer with e-Mails, brochures and other media resources to assure reorders. You will not find that in any other business.
The beauty of the TriVita™ business is you, as the BA, can choose how they you want to build it. You can let this business slowly build or you can jumpstart it. Some join and focus on customers and others join and focus on customers and building a team of other Business Affiliates.
I’ve been in all three of the above businesses and in my opinion TriVita™ is the best choice.
