Independence Visitor Center Announces New Director of Marketing and Communications

(Free-Press-Release.com) October 13, 2008 -- Tosti, who previously served as Marketing Manager, will be responsible for planning, budgeting, implementing, and measuring all marketing initiatives and special programming related to the Visitor Center with the ultimate goal of driving visitation.

In her previous role as manager, Tosti was responsible for all written and public communications, including public relations, web content and printed publication content as well as event coordination. Since joining the Visitor Center in September 2007, Tosti increased the visibility of the facility significantly, and implemented unique programming and website features which ultimately have led to increased foot traffic at the Visitor Center,

Prior to joining the Visitor Center, Tosti served as Public Relations Manager at the Bucks County Conference and Visitors Bureau (BCCVB).

Tosti holds an M.A. in Professional Communication from LaSalle University and a B.A. in Journalism, Public Relations, and Advertising from Temple University.
