Charleston, South Carolina is a thriving housing market in 2008

A recap of this weeks events would simply be an exercise in futility, as more of the same has transpired and still there remains no certainty of a bottom in the the housing sector. Many in the Nation are angry, confused just outright scared to go forward with a home purchase. While there is no certainties in life except those we universally accept as fact, historically the housing market is still sizzling hot as are the rates banks are now offering. Personally i can think of no safer place than real estate to put my hard earned money because in the final analysis we must go 'home' at the end of the day. Well, I do not want to bore you with my astute perceptions lets get to the "weekly1 on 1" with the exceedingly razor sharp Iulia [You-lee-Ya] Iordachescu of the McMasters Team.

James: Good Morning Iulia(you-lee-ya)

Iulia: Good Morning James.

James: I suppose you have seen a lot of negatives during this period of correction how do you stay so optimistic and productive when so many other agents are less than positive or productive in this climate?

Iulia: Honestly, it's completely second nature for me to focus on not contributing to anything I deem counter-productive, it does me no good to focus on the things I can't change or that I don't have to embrace. I think just being aware of what I am doing and how and why, keeps me moving in an up swing, and when you feel you have momentum you feel enthusiastic about your purpose and getting your clients to where they need to be-the closing table.Wink

James: Awesome outlook, but what do you say to the reluctant investor or typical buyer about the current housing market when as far as one can tell things are out of control?

Iulia: Being of Romanian origin, I recently took a two week vacation to be with my family. Not only was I surprised, but I was overwhelmed by the inquiries and direct interest about the American housing market. To be frank, at this point the deals are so attractive that people from all over Eastern Europe with good business sense are interested in owning real estate in the United State. In conclusion, if investors from Eastern Europe are looking to make cash purchases here, what else do I need to say...(exasperates) do you think it is the right time to buy? I can't come up with a better set of circumstances. If one was to come up up with a utopic picture of a perfect market for buyers there would be no other elements to add to make it better.Smile
