Sandor Urbans US Kenpo Kai Promotes Eleven Coral Gables Residents

Coral Gables, FL Ocober 17, 2008 -- Sifu Sandor Urban, owner of Sandor Urban's US Kenpo Kai, located in Coral Gables, has promoted 11 of his students at his recent October Belt Test. "I'm especially proud of this particular group. One of the kids has earned an advanced rank in the martial arts despite his own personal challenges and learning disabilities. The American Kenpo Karate system is both physically and mentally challenging. Many, including his parents never thought he'd get as far as he has and everyone is especially proud of him. ” explained Sifu Sandor Urban, US Kenpo Kai's head instructor.

After 5 years of American Kenpo Training, Nicholas Pujol achieved Junior Black Belt and has now graduated to the Adult American Kenpo program. Gabriell Salgado earned the rank of Purple Belt along with JC Hernandez, who achieved his Junior Brown Belt, and both students moved into the adult martial arts program at Sandor Urban's US Kenpo Kai. Tremendous accomplishments for children of their age.

In the Adult American Kenpo Karate Program Cliff Kalina and Matt Gitlin earned Orange Belts and Doug Dowda a Yellow Belt. The Children's American Kenpo program had four students achieve the advanced rank of Brown Belt; Gaby Pujol, JC Hernandez, Javier Hernandez and Anthony Albini. Courtney and Conner Yurkon were awarded Orange Belts and Nathan Nunez received his Yellow Belt.
