K-9 COSTUME CONTEST

(Free-Press-Release.com) October 22, 2008 -- REDLANDS, Calif. -- The 4th Annual K-9 Costume Contest will be hosted by Brian Casey and Patti Banner from KOLA 99.9's morning show "Brian Casey and the Wake-Up Bunch" Thursday, Oct. 30, 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. in the KOLA parking lot. The winning pet and their owner will receive a two-night stay at the pet-friendly Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa, as well as a year’s supply of Ultra Premium Canidae pet food provided by Scooble.com, the online resource for finding the best pet food and services.

"We're extremely excited to be involved with this year’s event," said Scooble.com’s Rob Chell. "It's always fun, and the pets and their owners will have a great time."

KOLA listeners will also be involved in this year's contest as they will be choosing the ultimate K-9 Costume winner. At the end of the Oct. 30 show, three finalists will be chosen, and their pictures will be posted on the KOLA Web site, www.kolafm.com, where listeners will vote for their favorite costumed pet.

On Halloween, Friday, Oct. 31, Brian and Patti will announce the winner during the 8 a.m. hour.

Contestants are asked to arrive to the event by 7 a.m. and register by 7:30 a.m. Pet owners must be 18 years or older to participate.
