Monmouth County NJ Fitness Center Focuses On Families In Need

(Free-Press-Release.com) October 22, 2008 -- Ultimate Fitness Center in Ocean Township, New Jersey has taken a selfless approach to the economic deficit this country is facing. Instead of fretting over declining memberships, the NJ fitness center is putting the needs of others ahead of their own. Owner Edward Albert reached out to gym members and asked them to help other families in need. He started a collection of clothing, silverware, dishes, shoes and household necessities which will be donated to DYFS.

The Division of Youth and Family Services (DYFS) is New Jersey's child protection and child welfare agency within the Department of Children and Families. Its mission is to ensure the safety, permanency and well-being of children and to support families.
Owner Edward Albert stated, “Instead of focusing on declining memberships or a dip in our sales, we decided to turn our focus to New Jersey families who were in critical need of help. It’s our way of dealing with these stressful times and it helps our gym community come together and feel good during not-so-good times.”

Ultimate Fitness Training Center is an all around health and wellness center which encompasses a gym, health café, relaxing massage therapy and nutrition all in one location. Albert added, “We are a no nonsense type of gym. We all know each other by first name here and we treat each other with respect. People who come to Ultimate Fitness come to exercise and feel good. It’s not about big muscles or tiny tank-tops here, it’s about being healthy, active and happy.”
