Grand Opening of Spacio de Q Art Gallery on Nov. 1, 2008

(Free-Press-Release.com) October 23, 2008 -- Los Angeles, CA, November 22, 2008-- The official grand opening of Spacio de Q Art Gallery on November 1, 2008 will celebrate the opening of a new art venue for upcoming new artists and established artists in the Los Angeles Area. The gallery is specifically designed as a space for established and emerging artists to exhibit and present their work to the general public.

The very first exhibit to be held at the gallery, entitled “My Life in Painting” will be devoted entirely to the founder’s Colombian Artist Carlos Buitrago’s artwork. The gallery will hang paintings that range abstract to still lifes to decorative art, from acrylics to mixed media. The gallery will handle the overflow artwork and will be open to the public for viewing. In all, over 10 to 12 pieces will be on display.


A large crowd of patrons, local artists and friends are expected to attend the grand opening, music and appetizers will be held at the reception. The founders have an enthusiastic following of family, friends, and art lovers that will turn out in support of the new endeavor.

The grand opening festivities will be held from 6:00pm to 10:30pm on Friday, November 1st at the new space on 1507 7th Street, Santa Monica, CA 90401 behind the Vons Market and is open to all patrons. 5 percent of the proceeds from all art sales that day will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

“My Life in Painting” will run through November 15. November 17 the gallery will continue with a new artist’s exhibition and so on every 15 days. END.
