FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) October 26, 2008 --
As various first world countries including the United States of America and members of the European Union scamper to produce an effective solution to the current world economic crisis, certain countries in Asia including Japan and Singapore are not spared from the falling market. It is only a matter of time before trouble hits home and in fact a number of industries in the Philippines have already been affected. At times of economic uncertainties, people need to place their hard earned money in safe, secured investments. They need to turn to investments that will be protected from an ever increasing inflation rate, shielded from the diminishing value of currency, yet at the same time providing a good and acceptable return on investment. However, after setting aside money for liquidity purposes, where could people invest their money? Real estate, whether it is in the form of land, townhouses, or condominiums, remains to be one of the best alternative investments today even in the face of a global economic crisis. In order to effectively invest in real estate, however, a lot of knowledge has to be learned from broad generalizations to specific, diverse ever-changing intricacies including practical techniques in real estate.
To spearhead these concepts in real estate education, a series of lectures on the different “how-to’s” of investing in real estate will be conducted by the Urban Institute of Real Estate for prospective investors, developers, landowners, and realty professionals. Through these seminars, participants will hopefully be able to gain sufficient insights and confidence to finally implement their dream real estate investments. Participants will learn further the ABCs of real estate principles to avoid costly mistakes usually suffered by inexperienced investors turning a potentially confusing headache-inducing endeavor into a pleasant, successful and sustainable real estate business.
Numerous issues concerning real estate investment such as finding the best opportunities, putting money in joint ventures, understanding government rules and real estate laws, managing property, dealing with taxation and learning effective marketing will be tackled in a series of seminars to be conducted on November 5, 7, 10, 12, 14, 17, 19, 24, 26, 28, December 1 and 3, from 1:30 to 6:00 PM at the Maximo Function Room, 2nd Floor, Max’s Restaurant, Ayala Center, Makatic City.
