Aurora, CO (Press Release- October 24, 2008)- Adventures Wild, the popular Western outfitter based in Aurora, CO, announced recently they will continue to offer their highly successful wild turkey hunts for the 2009 spring season.

Many trophies are taken regularly as Adventures Wild clients hunt in the river bottoms and hill country of Nebraska for both Merriam and Rio Grande turkeys with a generous 3 bird limit. And being one of the top outfitters in Nebraska, Adventures Wild knows just the right spots to put hunters in the middle of the action.

“We currently lease over 6,000 acres on or near the Republican River in Southwest Nebraska.” said Chris Vaughn, owner and operator of Adventures Wild “Our land has huge Merriam and Rio Grande turkey populations for anyone looking to book a wild turkey hunt with us this coming spring. Adventures Wild is taking on bookings now for the 2009 spring Nebraska and Iowa turkey seasons. Hunt dates are always mid April through mid May in both states. Nebraska turkey tags are available over the counter and can be bought the day your hunt begins or over the internet. Iowa turkey tags are obtained through a draw which occurs from mid December through late January.
