Hundreds of “green” sites are currently being developed: from organic clothes shops and advice on how to reduce your electricity bill to black coloured search engines with theories of saving watts because of the black screen. At GreenTaz we’ve decided to go one step further...
GreenTaz.com isn’t a black search engine, it’s a green search engine! 50% of all revenue generated by the site are a given back to charities and organizations that fight actively against global warming. The site has just opened and for the launch we have already adopted Koyah, an Orang-Utan from Borneo. There are only 60 000 orang-utans left in the wild, so it’s time to get moving! This adoption was put together with the help of WWF UK, an organization that works hard to fight global warming and protecting animals against extinction.
We want to be fully transparent with our visitors so we will regularly update our blog: www.greentaz.com/blog with news on the site’s revenue and the funds given to help fight global warming. When possible, we will also update everybody on what was actually physically done with our donations!
Based on the Google Technology, each time you make a search on GreenTaz.com, you will do your little bit to fight global warming... And you won’t even be changing your search engine habits. Search engines generate billions of pounds every year and even if GreenTaz generates a small percentage of this, we will could make a massive change!
In order to get going as fast as possible, there’s only 1 thing to do... choose GreenTaz.com as your main search engine and tell your friends and family about it!
