Former German CEO Borris Brandt of entertainment conglomerate Endemol, is moving on to dedicate his efforts to develop compelling advertising within new media spaces. For Brandt it is all about building and bridging the divide between "brand" and "media". As interviewed recently, Brandt explained "the way a consumer experiences advertising necessitates attraction...interactivity is essential."
There is a definitive shift in the way brands are being developed, positioned and ultimately perceived. The brand as always remains the catalyst and the audience, the focal point. The difference with advertising in today's saturated and seemingly unblinking market is how to establish that critical point of engagement and further develop the dialogue. As a result, the collectively accepted norms between brand and agency, media and audience are all in a state of incredible transition. These exciting and unexplored crossroads are where Borris Brandt and Pocketfilm Media Entertainment meet. Working collaboratively with Pocketfilm's founder Harald Thoma, Brandt is convinced of the firm's untapped potential. Pocketfilm already develops new multimedia and interactive advertising formats that are setting new benchmarks of success. As further explained by Thoma, "by creatively incorporating existing platforms, Pocketfilm has significantly raised the number of the spectators within the advertising block and in turn brought in new sources of income for TV stations".
The enterprise Pocketfilm HQ is based out of Cologne, Germany and was founded in 2005 by Dr. Thomas Luetzenrath, Gerrit Neuhaus and Harald Thoma.
