MTC-W united fifty-five Ontario teens for a fantastic display of diversity, beauty and achievement. Fifty-five delegates gathered at the Metropolitan Hotel Toronto for workshops, mentorship and individual auditions. In addition to live participants, thirty contestants auditioned via web-cam. Contestants came from all over the province of Ontario, including Dryden, Toronto, St. Catherine’s, London, Windsor, Barry’s Bay, Clarington, Ottawa, Kitchener and Sudbury.

The Ontario audition proved to be an exciting event for the ambitious young woman, representing their region of Ontario. Guest speakers included the reigning Miss Teen Canada-World, Katie Starke. Miss Starke attends York University on athletic and academic scholarships. She was in the top 10 in the Miss Teen World Pageant in Texas, August 2008. Katie Starke was an inspiration to the ambitious attendees and guide to what is to be expected for the girls selected to move on.

Miss Teen Canada – World Ontario, Provincial Pageant

From the eighty auditioned, forty are selected to compete in the Miss Teen Canada-World Ontario Pageant. This provincial competition will showcase the achievements and beauty of Ontario Teens and will narrow down the contestants to fifteen national finalists.

The Miss Teen Canada - World Pageant takes place summer of 2009 and will feature finalists from all over this great nation. 25, 000 dollars in cash and prizes will be awarded. The young woman who is crowned MTC-W will move on to the international pageant and represent all of Canada.
