UWLA Presents Los Angeles Attorney David Drexler for Honored Speaker Series

(Free-Press-Release.com) November 8, 2008 -- Los Angeles, California, November 2008 – The University of West Los Angeles School of Law (UWLA) has engaged Los Angeles Personal Injury Attorney David Drexler to be the featured speaker at the November meeting of the Law School’s Honored Speaker Series on November 1, 2008 in West Los Angeles. Drexler’s topic, “P.I. Solo Practice 101: How To Start A successful Personal Injury Practice” will address the challenges of establishing a successful Personal Injury Law practice in competitive and difficult times.

Drexler, recognized by the legal community as one of the Premiere Personal Injury Attorneys in California, has established a long and successful career in Southern California while winning verdicts and settlements totaling more than 100 million dollars. Nominated as “Trial Lawyer of the Year”, Drexler has been recognized by L.A. Magazine as one of the state’s “Super Lawyers” for each of the five years the magazine has published its list. LA Direct Magazine has said that Drexler is “A Big-City Attorney with Small-Town Values.”

Attorney Ed Stark, an Administrator from UWLA, stressed Drexler’s personal ethics when discussing why he’d been invited by the Honored Speaker Series to speak. “We have had cases against, as well as with, each other and I have always been impressed with how he handles himself, how he takes command of a room, and how he always maintains a high level of ethics while zealously advocating his position,” said Stark. “David always stresses the important and necessary details of each situation, but he never loses sight of the larger picture, as well as the fact that the cases he handles directly impact people’s lives. Having spoken at the school only once before to great reviews, Drexler has the additional incentive of having his son Justin, a current third year law student at the University of West Los Angeles Law School, in the audience. The Honored Speaker Series at UWLA invites outstanding members of the legal community to discuss with students and faculty valuable aspects of legal education and/or the practice of law.
