2. Adequate power. We want to stop living off generators and invertors. Today, whole apartment blocks, houses, shops, offices and shopping malls are running on private diesel generators, not to mention the partial dependence of people who do get DHBVN electricity supply, albeit erratically.

3. Adequate clean water in all parts of the city. Water in some parts of Gurgaon has a Total Dissolved Solids TDS measurement of upto 350 mg / litre! (Good and unadulterated bottled water has a TDS of 20-30 mg / litre.)

4. An intra-city transport system. The Delhi Metro will soon be connecting Gurgaon to Delhi but almost all of Gurgaon is bereft of any transport system, unless you are counting the highly dangerous - in more ways than one - MUV cabs.

5. Sensitivity towards other people’s rights. Whether we are a public official or a private citizen, we need to be more sensitive towards other people’s rights. We would like people to respect other people’s right to safety, when they drive, other people’s right to space, right to get service, right to basic amenities…
