Most Severe Headaches Are Not Migraine But Are Treated As Such Unsuccessfully

Yet virtually all severe headaches, without easily identifiable causes, are mistakenly diagnosed as migraine, and are many times unsuccessfully treated. Dr. A. Richard Goldman, director of the Head and Neck Pain Center, in Chicago, in his forty years of practice, has found that most severe head and neck pain is caused by spasms in the muscles of the head and neck, but are mistakenly labeled migraine.
