Murals by artist Kevin Stewart-Magee featured in Bristol Farms' new market in Valencia, California

(Free-Press-Release.com) November 14, 2008 -- Kevin Davis, President, Chairman and CEO of Bristol Farms stated "The Valencia store features a uniquely designed décor package that celebrates and highlights the Valencia community. The store has historical early 40's and 50's murals that show off the rich Santa Clarita Valley history." There are over 1,500 sq.ft. of hand painted murals in this store. The murals feature local landscapes and waterscapes from the surrounding area. 

The Cafe is graced with a 35 foot mural of an ancient California oak tree catching the day's last light. The Produce Department features a 60 foot mountainscape mural of blooming Yucca plants, chaparral, creosote bushes and sage. The Meat Department showcases a 58 foot waterscape mural featuring lake Castaic as the shadows begin to fall on the water. The Deli Department displays a 60 foot  mural of California poppies, our state flower in full bloom, rising above the horizon and curving out of sight like giant swells on a frozen sea. 

Kevin Stewart-Magee painted the murals in 15 of 16 Bristol Farms Market locations in California. He has produced over 100 murals for select communities, businesses and residences across the West and Hawaii. He recently opened a new mural studio in downtown Los Angeles to produce painted and tile murals for corporate, community and private clients.

The store was designed by DL English Design in Long Beach and constructed by Palladeo, of Burbank. The murals were produced in the DL English mural studio. For more information on the store design contact Debi English.
