New Affiliate program started at www.ryansjones.com

As of yesturday, the webmaster at www.ryansjones.com, has decided to create a new incentive for visitors to refer others to his website. Here is how it works, first if someone wants to join his affiliate program, he or she will have to send and email to him wanting to join, along with their name, web address, organization or company, and email address, so that he knows who is referring who to his website. After that, each time that affiliate refers someone to his website that buys from at least one of his sponsors, he will give that affiliate a cut of his commissions. Initially, the commission rate will be 10% of his commission (which will be paid via pay pal at the end of each month), but for high performing affiliates, he is willing to raise the commission rate 5% for every 15 converting visitors that he/she refers, up to 50% of the commissions he makes. For example, let's say Sue refers a visitor to the Snohomish Ebook Store and More (www.ryansjones), and the person that Sue refers buys a computer for $2000 at Toshiba Direct, which is one of the several affiliates of www.ryansjones.com. The commission rate at Toshiba Direct is 6% off of sales, and computers at Toshiba Direct ranges anywhere between $1000 and $3000. If that visitor gets a $2000 computer from Toshiba Direct, the webmaster of www.ryansjones.com makes $120, and his affiliate would make $12 for that sale. For affiliates who are high performing and earn 50% off of the commissions that the webmaster of www.ryansjones.com makes, he or she would be making $60 for that sale (splitting the commission 50/50). Note that this affiliate program will be on a cost per performance basis, and the person that affiliates refer will need to actually buy from at least one of the sponsors, and those transactions will need to be verified (which can easily be tracked with the affiliate links) for the referrer to earn a cut of he commission.
