Auburn, IN – Kruse International is known to be one of the largest auction houses in the world selling fine vintage and classic cars for collectors throughout the globe since 1971. Recently, the record holder company has decided to branch out into the phenomenon of antiques and collectible market, and has already featured over five exclusive antique auctions across the country grossing well over $1M. Now, Kruse is bringing the excitement of an antique road show style auction to its hometown of Auburn, IN. The event will be held at the 480-acre Kruse Auction Park on December 6th, 2008.
“There will be hundreds of very distinctive items up for grabs in this auction. Everything is selling at no reserve to the highest bidder”, states Dean Kruse, president of Kruse International. “The stereotype that antique auctions are to be attended by a select wealthy elite needs to be thrown out the window”, Mr. Kruse continues, “Most antique auctions like the one we are presenting have something that will suit anyone’s budget.”
Kruse’s local Three Antique Collections auction will feature several items ranging from paintings to glassware, from furniture to urns. Think French lamps, wall clocks, pocket watches, vintage frames, and original oil paintings. Dishes, decorative and hand painted items, and jewelry will cross the block at no reserve. Beautiful French bisque, pewter, wax, and wood figures circa the 1900’s will start selling at 10 AM. Also for sale Mercer plates and soup bowl set, Mikado cup and saucer, china service for eight by Havilland and a breathtaking single strand pearl necklace circa the 1940’s.
We strongly recommend prospective bidders to pre-register for free with our office before Dec. 1st, 2008. However, a registration booth will also be available on site on the day of the event. Admission is free, so bring the entire family for a fabulous and fun way to start early Christmas shopping. This is an open antique and collectible auction; therefore, Kruse International invites all antique dealers, shops, and collectors to consign quality antique items today.
