Diapers and Dollars: 2 Local Area Business Women Team Up to Help Families Go Green and Save Green

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) November 25, 2008 --
Camille Knutson is the owner of Little Pea Pods, an online shop specializing in cloth diapers and natural, sustainable, organic products for both moms and babies. Crystal Soderlind is a Financial Associate with Thrivent Financial. Both women help families meet their parenting budgets and financial needs without breaking the bank.
The two started speaking to small parenting groups earlier this year to educate parents about the benefits of cloth diapering and sound financial planning. Far from being a sales pitch, their main goal is to give families the tools that they need to give their children a healthy start and a healthy future.
Camille begins by exploring the different reasons that young parents should consider using cloth diapers: 1) reducing their impact on the environment, 2) eliminating the baby’s exposure to harmful chemicals, and 3) finally showing parents exactly how much money can be saved. Actual product is on hand and a quick demonstration is given on how easy cloth diapers are to use.
Once parents have an idea of how much green they can save, Crystal discusses the many responsibilities that new parents face including life insurance needs, education funding, tax savings strategies, and retirement planning. At the end of the presentation, parents walk away with a better understanding of how Diapers and Dollars can fit into their daily lives.
Diapers and Dollars is available to speak to your group. To learn more please call Camille at 952-474-7327 or visit the website at www.littlepeapods.com.
