Front Row Limousine, a 24-year old company providing Atlanta limo service, airport shuttle and sedan service, corporate car service, changed ownership and management in February 2008. Soon after the acquisition gas prices increased, credit became more difficult, and corporations progressively put spending on hold due to uncertainty of the market and the elections. Many would think it is bad time to buy a limousine company that is driven by business and leisure travel and that has fuel as a key operating costs. But new Principal and CEO Kevin Jean-Charles thinks differently. He believes that increased small business activity is the true stimulator for the economy, and small business leadership has to put great strategies in place to take advantage of pockets of opportunity in the marketplace. Front Row Limousine is now concentrating on growing its base of clients, traditionally corporations and their executives residing in the Atlanta suburbs. Front Row’s expanded customer base includes intown residents and corporate travelers, concert goers and visitors to hotels near Hartsfield-Jackson airport, in such Atlanta areas as Midtown, Buckhead, Downtown, Morningside and Virginia Highlands.

Mr. Jean-Charles explains, “Even though there are many negative macro-level factors in the economy that make it more difficult to operate, small business growth means emphasizing business fundamentals. This means putting strong management systems in place in the areas of marketing, operations, information systems, and finance is key to staying solvent . Our management team scanned the major drivers of the Atlanta economy and saw the airport, conventions, concerts and seasonal shopping as pockets of opportunity. ” With this in mind, management made a decision to move operations from the Alpharetta/Cummings area to Midtown, the heartbeat of Atlanta. This move has also improved Front Row’s service level to long-standing Fortune 500 executives that often return to Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson airport, with heavy delays. Quite simply, Midtown operations, coupled with flight tracking, lets Front Row reduce clients’ headaches from these delays. Since the change in ownership, Front Row is strengthening its relationships with strong social networking and memberships in great local associations. The company has recently joined the Atlanta Convention Visitor Bureau, the Atlanta Business League, an 1380 WAOK Rob Wilson’s radio network. Operating in midtown has enabled Front Row representatives to attend more networking events.

Front Row Limousine has been a respected brand in Atlanta since 1983 and continues to provide transportation services to a range of customers from such corporations as Verizon Wireless, IBM, and the Wall Street Journal.
