Lynch began working on the series in May of 2008 with notorious creativity house SceneFour in Los Angeles. SceneFour has played instrumental roles in design for Marilyn Manson, Beck, Nine Inch Nails, MTV and George Lynch.

All 200 Lynch canvases combine the pin-hole photography of Evan Stone (Henry Rollins, Johnny Rotten, Beastie Boys) with Lynch’s original handprints set onto the piece using acrylic paint. Each handprint is uniquely designed by the iconic guitarist.

“Some are tiger striped like the Bengal guitar he’s made famous. Some are really vibrant, and others are just bizarrely beautiful. Lynch is creatively brilliant, and the canvases reflect that,” SceneFour Creative Director Cory Danziger states.
