Tic-Tac-Toe, otherwise known around the world as Noughts and Crosses, X’s and O’s, and Hugs and Kisses, requires only pencil and paper, and is an easy game to learn and play. Mathematicians have even determined that the game offers an astounding 255,168 possible winning game combinations, yet “best play” for the game almost always ends in a tie, making it a game suitable only for very young children.

X-Ceter-O puts an imaginative twist on the classic game, incorporating elements of chess and other strategy games, making it fun for all ages. Every set includes six magnetic game pieces – three O’s marked “1”, “3” and “5” and three X’s marked “2”,”4” and “6” – along with the familiar 3x3 game board grid. The pieces are played in numerical order – that is, the “O” marked “1” goes first, followed by the “X” marked “2”, and so on. Once the six pieces are on the board, play continues in sequential fashion, with each move exposing the now-vacated square to the opponent. The action ends only when the first player to achieve the once-unthinkable, three-in-a-row combination, wins the game.
