Hudson Falls, New York : JonesCAM is now delivering its latest wearable PVR called the "JC-2. The JC-2 is a micro-sized video recording solution, packaged with features like user selectable MPEG2 and MPEG4 technology delivers broadcast quaility (720 x 480 resolution @30fps) video and stereo audio. Engineered for streaming, and DVD production, it also works as a server via its Ethernet feature. Its one button record feature makes recording a snap, its micro-size and versatility makes it invaluable…. The JC-2 is being offered for a limited time for only $599.00 USD.

The JC-2 is designed to handle the harshest extremes. Videos are recorded to solid state CF cards up to 16GB. This credit card sized package also offers wireless remote controls, ethernet functions, even motion detection. Measuring 3” x 2.75” x .85” in size, this unique, features packed PVR even has a practical, no-nonsense 2.4” color LCD screen, and a rechargeable 3500 mAH battery which also powers the camera and stereo microphones. No tangled mess of cables here, its one-cable harness with locking connectors is available in custom lengths to 30 feet. The JC-2, is the ultimate go-anywhere, do anything, wearable PVR.

The JC-2 provides six level record modes, LQ/LP/EP/LP/SP/HQ for record options. You can customize the video resolution, bit rate, there’s even a user selected time stamp feature, which embeds the time/date in the video. Options and custom design capabilities include video Lap Timer, LANC, GPS, Wi-Fi and two-way communications, waterproof casing and on-board packages.

JonesCAM compliments the JC-2 PVR with several color CCD or CMOS camera with resolutions up to 560 lines. The lipstick, bullet and board cameras have interchangeable lenses (close/wide angle lenses), Sony CCD’s, and OSD menus (on screen display). Users now have an option of either manually setting white balance, backlight, shutter speeds, zone controls, etc. or use the cameras auto settings.
